Canadian Hydrogen Association – Quarterly President’s Update to Members (July 2026)
To members of the Canadian Hydrogen Association,
The second quarter of 2026 was a period of continued activity and engagement for Canada’s hydrogen sector and for the Canadian Hydrogen Association (CHA). As project development, market dialogue, and policy engagement continued to evolve across the country and internationally, the CHA remained focused on strengthening membership, amplifying member success, deepening partnerships, advancing advocacy, and supporting collaboration across the hydrogen value chain.
We were also pleased to hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 1, and I would like to thank the members who participated for their time, engagement, and continued support of the Association. Importantly, as part of our AGM, the CHA announced our new Chair and Board of Directors. The CHA team looks forward to working with the new Board—and all of our members— to ensure that CHA remains responsive, member-driven, and well positioned to advance our shared priorities.
Below is a snapshot of CHA’s key activities and sector developments over Q2 of 2026.
