The Canadian Hydrogen Association (CHA) announces Beth Buckmaster as new board chair
TORONTO – The Canadian Hydrogen Association (CHA) is pleased to announce the election of its new Chair of the Board of Directors for 2024-25.
Beth Buckmaster, who previously served as Vice Chair, has been elected Chair of the Board. She is the Vice President of Strategic Client Relations at Solestiss, a women-owned energy management consulting firm that guides clients through the complex energy landscape. In her role, Beth fosters long-term strategic partnerships with clients and delivers proactive solutions that align with their goals and drive mutual success. A recognized relationship builder with over 15 years of experience in the power sector, Ms. Buckmaster is proud to support Canada’s ambitious hydrogen goals and is deeply committed to advancing the Canadian hydrogen industry as a cornerstone of the nation’s clean energy future. Passionate about driving positive change, she is a steadfast advocate for building a strong energy sector grounded in diversity and inclusion.

Beth was announced as chair during the CHA’s Annual General Meeting on November 14. The election of the vice-chair of the board is currently underway and will be announced during the first meeting of the CHA’s board of directors in early December.
