Mary Fry is the Director of Production Assets for the Clean Fuels Business Unit at HTEC, where she oversees the development of HTEC-owned hydrogen electrolysis production projects in British Columbia. Combining her strong technical expertise with business acumen, Mary provides strategic commercial direction for projects, including contracting, identifying funding opportunities, and developing business cases to support investment decisions.

Mary has over 20 years of experience working with a variety of businesses, with the last 8 years focused on clean energy.  She joined HTEC in 2022 after 6 years at Zen Clean Energy Solutions, where she specialized in project management and led the grant-writing division, helping early-stage companies secure funding and develop project plans.

Mary holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
