Christopher Penny is an engineering and project development professional with extensive experience leading large industrial capital projects. With 15 years of experience in the broad-based energy industry, spanning custom equipment manufacturing, upstream oil & gas, CANDU nuclear refurbishment, and thermal power; Christopher is now leading strategic and technical project development and delivery at Atura Power as Senior Manager, Project Development.
Christopher is an energy industry enthusiast and recognizes the value that low-cost, low-carbon energy provides to Canadians. Maximizing this opportunity leads to a natural nexus between economic growth and prosperity, decarbonization and energy security and sustainability. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University and holds a Professional Engineering License in Ontario.
