Dayana Musa is a Professional Engineer and strategic technical leader with 20 years of experience at Enbridge Gas Inc. She is recognized as a driving force behind transformational advancements in hydrogen blending and the modernization of Canada’s natural gas infrastructure. Dayana’s leadership has helped position Canada at the forefront of the emerging hydrogen economy through groundbreaking projects, industry collaboration, and a commitment to safe, reliable energy innovation.

Dayana led the operations team for North America’s first hydrogen blending project in Markham, Ontario, supplying over 4,000 customers with a safe and dependable hydrogen‑natural‑gas blend. This landmark project set a continent‑wide precedent and demonstrated Dayana’s ability to guide teams through pioneering, high‑visibility energy initiatives.

Most recently, she directed a multi‑disciplinary engineering team delivering the comprehensive engineering assessment for both the Enbridge Gaz Québec Hydrogen Blending Project and the Enbridge Gas Ontario Hydrogen Grid Feasibility Study. Her leadership guided critical asset‑readiness evaluations, including:

  • Thin‑wall steel hydrogen suitability assessments
  • Cast‑iron system compatibility evaluations
  • Customer appliance performance testing

These studies form essential building blocks for safe hydrogen deployment across legacy gas infrastructure in North America.
