Jeff Plato is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in the electronics, industrial, and fuel cell equipment business. He has worked extensively in Europe, North America, and Asia. Jeff first worked in the fuel cell industry in 2001 and has held executive positions at Greenlight/Hydrogenics, General Electric, and Hewlett Packard. As the President and CEO of Illuming Power Inc. since 2017, Jeff has led the company to become a prominent developer and supplier of fuel cell components, stacks, and systems. Under his leadership, Illuming Power has achieved significant milestones in innovation and market expansion. Jeff’s extensive leadership, sales, and marketing management experience in the chemical, electronic, industrial, and clean energy industries have been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and success. Jeff holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta and has completed the Hewlett Packard Functional Management Program. He is passionate about operational excellence, strategic sales, mentorship, and business development.
