Rachel brings a combination of strategy, commercialization, and public-private systems experience to the Board. Her work has focused on supporting the advancement of clean technologies from development through to deployment, with particular emphasis on aligning stakeholders across industry, government, and innovation ecosystems.

She offers a practical perspective on commercialization pathways, including how emerging technologies are positioned, funded, and implemented within complex environments. Her experience navigating government funding frameworks and cross-sector partnerships provides insight into the enabling conditions required to scale hydrogen technologies within Canada.

Through her role on the Board of Hydrogen BC, she has contributed to discussions on sector development, policy alignment, and stakeholder coordination. This experience has strengthened her understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with building a coordinated hydrogen ecosystem at both the provincial and national levels.

Rachel brings a systems-aware approach to governance, with a focus on connecting strategy to execution. She is particularly interested in supporting efforts that strengthen collaboration across regions, align public and private priorities, and ensure that hydrogen technologies are not only developed, but successfully deployed and adopted within real-world markets.
