Scott Mackenzie is the Director of Corporate & External Affairs at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. He has been with Toyota since 1999, starting in Manufacturing Operations and later moving to Quality Control. Over the years, he has held various roles, including Supplier Preparation and Development, Corporate Planning, and Government Affairs. His current responsibilities encompass all External Affairs functions for both TMMC and Toyota Canada, including Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Public Relations, and Corporate Communications. Scott has been instrumental in key policy negotiations and has played a significant role in securing new product lines for TMMC, such as the introduction of the RAV4 and Lexus NX to TMMC’s North Plant. He was born and raised in Kitchener, educated at the University of Waterloo, and resides in Waterloo with his family.
