La Croix Energy Capital is an Indigenous renewable energy project origination and development company. The Company’s strategy is to create value by designing, building and operating innovative clean energy transition solutions aligned with Canada’s global warming mitigation obligations, strategies and programs. La Croix’s vision is to accelerate the achievement of net zero emission targets within Canadian transportation and power markets. The Company’s strategic priorities specifically target the development of sustainable clean fuel production capacity and renewable power generation infrastructure. The Company’s current projects include the development of bioenergy and hydroelectric low-carbon intensity hydrogen production facilities to supply transportation and power generation fuel cell markets; and hybrid renewable energy systems for remote residential and industrial markets. Other strategic activities include international clean fuels supply origination and associated marine logistics optimization. The company’s management is led by Jeff Giesbrecht, Managing Director. Jeff has broad energy industry commercial experience that includes business and project development, project management, domestic and international sales & marketing, domestic and international supply chain management, financial & physical energy commodity trading, market fundamentals research & analysis, and commercial economics & finance. Utilizing defined corporate strategies and business plans as the underlying basis, he applies a disciplined methodology to new business origination, assessment, validation, development and commercialization. Jeff earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Queen’s University, Smith School of Business, and is a Master of Laws (LLM) candidate at York University, Osgood Hall Law School.
