Vema Hydrogen is a clean hydrogen technology company developing Engineered Mineral Hydrogen (EMH), an innovative production pathway that stimulates naturally occurring geochemical reactions in subsurface rock formations to generate low-carbon hydrogen. Vema’s interest in the Canadian hydrogen sector is centered on advancing EMH project development in Québec, contributing to Canada’s clean hydrogen ecosystem, and engaging with industry stakeholders on policy, regulation, commercialization, and market development. Through participation in the Canadian Hydrogen Association, Vema aims to support a technology-neutral hydrogen framework, build relationships across the hydrogen value chain, and contribute to Canada’s leadership in emerging low-carbon hydrogen production pathways.
