Modern Hydrogen joins the CHA as new member
The Canadian Hydrogen Association (CHA) is pleased to welcome Modern Hydrogen as a new member.
Modern Hydrogen is a sustainable energy and materials technology company that produces clean hydrogen at the point of use by stripping carbon out of natural gas prior to combustion, so that CO2 can never be created. The captured solid carbon is subsequently utilized and sequestered in materials such as enhanced asphalt to decarbonize the built environment.
Utilities & industrial companies use Modern Hydrogen’s methane pyrolysis solution to transform natural gas into clean energy and sustainable materials without the time & expense of new pipeline or grid infrastructure.
The Washington-based company has raised $100 million in funding, including from strategic partners like NextEra Energy and National Grid, as well as venture investors such as At One Ventures and Bill Gates.
