The Canadian Hydrogen Association hosts annual Ontario Advocacy Day
TORONTO – The Canadian Hydrogen Association (CHA) was pleased to host its annual Ontario Advocacy Day on July 27 at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), bringing together industry leaders and government partners to discuss the policies and partnerships needed to accelerate hydrogen deployment across the province.
The CHA and its members held a roundtable discussion with Hon. Sam Oosterhoff and representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Mines | Énergie et des Mines, ONeconomy | ÉconomieON, the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), Building Ontario Fund, Invest Ontario, and the Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA).
A highlight of the day was the technology showcase featuring Elemental Trucks‘ hydrogen-powered truck and GTAA’s hydrogen refuelling station—demonstrating that hydrogen solutions are already being deployed in Ontario.
The CHA thanks all members, speakers and participants, the hosts GTA, and sponsors Atura Power, Canadian Power-to-X Partners, CHARBONE Corporation TSXV:CH / OTCQB:CHHYF, Fasken, and Toyota Canada Inc. —for making this event possible.
The CHA looks forward to continued discussions to strengthen Ontario’s competitiveness, energy security, and clean economy.
