The CHA welcomes Atura Power as Premier Member
The Canadian Hydrogen Association is pleased to welcome Atura Power as a Premier Member for 2026.
Atura Power, a subsidiary of Ontario Power Generation, operates a flexible, dispatchable fleet of combined‑cycle plants across Halton Hills, Napanee, Toronto and Windsor—providing reliable power that enables greater integration of renewable energy. The company is also developing Ontario’s largest low‑carbon hydrogen production facility, the Niagara Hydrogen Centre, which will use run-of-river hydroelectric power to produce more than 2,000 tonnes of low‑carbon hydrogen per year and support decarbonization in industry, mobility, and power generation.
Through initiatives such as hydrogen blending at its Halton Hills Generating Station and leadership roles within Hydrogen Ontario, Atura is helping to build out the province’s next generation of clean energy infrastructure.
As a Premier Member, Atura Power will work directly with CHA leadership to help shape our national hydrogen strategy, benefit from dedicated regional and national board representation, and receive enhanced visibility across CHA advocacy days and programming. More information on our membership options is available on the CHA website.
We look forward to our continued partnership with Atura Power as they scale up low‑carbon hydrogen solutions in Ontario and across Canada.
