The CHA releases new BC Hydrogen Ecosystem Capabilities Guide

Mar, 18 2026

The Canadian Hydrogen and Association (CHA) is pleased to announce the release of a new British Columbia Hydrogen Ecosystem Capabilities Guide.

The guide serves to capture trends, growth and achievements for British Columbia’s world-leading hydrogen and fuel cell technology cluster, offering insights into the current state of the sector, core products and services offered by companies in the province, and provide valuable information for policy makers, investors and other stakeholders.

The guide was commissioned by the CHA and conducted by MNP LLP. The information presented in the profile was collected through a survey of BC companies, academic institutions, end-users and government agencies that were directly involved in hydrogen and fuel cell-related activities in 2024-25. The guide was made possible in part through an investment from PacifiCan.

The guide also includes select industry highlights that were prepared based on publicly available information and information provided directly by organisations that participated in the consultations.
