About this webinar

When asked what their organization’s most important asset is, almost every CEO will reply ‘’our people’’. Workforce planning is a term used for a very broad set of strategies and actions that can give an organization competitive advantage and de-risk major projects and transformations. This webinar is for executives and leaders that are ultimately responsible for realizing the ambitions and objectives of the organization through having a competent and motivated workforce.

Areas covered include:

  • Managing uncertainty in workforce projections and timelines – often workforce expansion is more linked to triggering events than it is to a calendar, so we will address how organizations can prepare for growth or transition despite this uncertainty.
  • Understanding the talent pool – knowing where the individuals are that you want to hire, how to communicate with them and what would motivate them to work for you rather than another employer. Inclusion and diversity objectives are core to this work.
  • Develop, hire or buy? – Categorizing job families based on whether you will develop people, hire experienced people or buy services from the supply chain. Identifying risk areas and ‘’long lead’’ job roles.
  • Challenging norms and assumptions – you may have never had 100% remote employees, hired internationally, radically changed job descriptions or redesigned the employee working experience, but new thinking may be essential to attract and retain your future workforce.
